Straighten Up
I’ve sung the praises of the MiroPure before, but it is saving me in the mornings with day 2 hair. Just can’t say enough good things about it. Bit of dry shampoo in my roots, thermal protectant from my mid-shaft through the ends, run this sucker through and viola!
On Acid(s)
Speaking of things I’ve sung the praises of, did you see my review of Tarte Knockout Tingling Treatment? If not, check it out. I’m enjoying really nice results from it. It is definitely a better value than I expected when I purchased.
The BB for Me
The seasonal transition was a little rough on my skin. Fortunately, no breakouts – just some uneven tone. It was just enough to make me want to reach for my BB Cream – Missha Perfect Cover. I still wear shade 21.
Polluted
For years, I’ve loved Smog. YEARS. I will ALWAYS love the damn color. Save for two weekdays in which I wore Hustle from Naked or Mocha from LORAC Pro 2, every weekday this past month, and most of the weekdays the month before, had my eyes covered in Smog. It’s just extremely flattering on my skintone and with my eye color.
Oh, Weight
Although I don’t intend for Beauty Skeptic to become a lifestyle blog, I sometimes have lifestyle favorites that are adjacent-enough to share. In October, I endeavored to start exercising. Between a sedentary job and sedentary hobbies, I didn’t feel too great physically. There’s no better time than the present, so I picked up a pair of 5lb dumb bells and took to the internet to help me figure out what the hell I should be doing. These ones from C9 are easy to grip, seem to have sturdy construction, and come in a variety of sizes.
