I air dry often in summer, but its nice not to walk around with sopping wet hair. These are similar to the Turbie Twist, which I still use and enjoy, but they’re slightly larger. They accommodate long hair a bit easier. I rotate these with my Turbie Twists so I’m never stuck without between laundry trips (no in-unit laundry, sadly, so laundry is an event). They’re soft and the price is right – and they’re at Target!
I’ve been playing mixologist a bit. I’ve really come to love this highlight – it applies beautifully atop or mixed in with my foundation. I don’t think I’ll ever be on the Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed bandwagon, but the cream is just what I want a highlighter to be. Present, pretty, but not overwhelming. Two months in a row is a first!
Summer is the season of effortless beauty, so I take advantage of that with some cream products. I’ve been enjoying this inexpensive cream blush – just the right amount of color, easily sheered out to a whisper. I like to apply this with a beautyblender or RT sponge, but this inexpensive stippling brush works well, too.
On a similar note, I’m frequently reaching for this affordable cream shadow. Throw it in the crease with a brush like this, done. It’s that easy. Downside is that this particular shade is only going to be a good crease shade for light-to-medium skin tones. Those of you with deeper skin tones may be able to get some use out of this cream shadow as a lid shade.
