When I need more of a complexion pick-me-up than I can pull off with basically just concealer, I reach for my UD Naked Skin Powder foundation. I can apply it even during that early, “my synapses really aren’t firing yet,” part of the day. It’s more forgiving than a cream or liquid as far as blending goes, and I need all the grace I can get when I’m needing to apply that early. I like to apply with my Makeup Geek Face Buffer Brush.
I’ve been using this stuff for a few weeks now and am still loving it. It isn’t making my skin crazy and it effectively removes my makeup without hard work on my part and without drying out my skin. (I’m coming to find that my skin feels a little dry after using the Kirkland Makeup Wipes. I still like them, I just need to moisturize right after using them.)
My hair has just been so damn happy since I started using this again. I’m being careful about the products I use so I’m not overdosing my locks on protein, and I’m using a clarifying shampoo once every two weeks. I’m successfully washing only three times per week, and I feel confident I can, “train,” my scalp to let me get away with twice a week without having to use too much dry shampoo.
I’ve had Pure Grace for about a month now. It’s so clean! So light! So all-occasion-appropriate! I can’t wait to buy a full-sized bottle and the body mist. By the way, if you’re in the market for fragrance for yourself or as a Mother’s Day gift – Sephora is doing triple BI points on fragrance until May 8!
You learn things about yourself as you age. I, for instance, have a sugar addiction. I want to get my sugar consumption under control and one really simple way I can do that is by getting a grip on how many sweet beverages I consume. I need to drink more water (which my Contigo helps with) but it can be boring! NORMALLY, I will carbonate water in my SodaStream and squeeze a wedge of lemon or lime into a glass, and add it. That isn’t always the most convenient (work, running around, out of lemons or limes), enter things like La Croix or Dasani Sparkling. They have flavor, but aren’t sweetened. Many of them don’t even have sodium, and if calories are something you watch, they’re 0 cal.
