September 2015 Favorites
1. Turbie Twist, $12.50 for 2 / 2. China Glaze Gelaze Recycle, $11
3. Ponds Luminous Finish BB+ Cream, $11 / 4. L’Oreal Infalliable Shadow in Amber Rush, $6
My September 2015 Favorites are all inexpensive drugstore products! Aside from one being discontinued (jerks – but you can still find it on Amazon), they’re all accessible!
I’ve already shared my review of the Turbie Twist but man, I’m so glad I have one of these! Not walking around with sopping hair (whether I’m air drying or waiting to blowdry) is always a plus, especially as the weather is cooling off.
I never used to really wear grey polish. Silver, yes, but never grey. I picked up China Glaze Gelaze Recycle during my Sally Beauty Haul earlier this year and I can’t get enough of it. I wasn’t sure if I’d like it at first. But this deep, not-quite-charcoal grey is a fantastic neutral and I basically want to wear it all the time.
I was able to snag two tubes of this on Amazon, so I don’t have to ration now; yay! I’ve talked about it before (I mentioned it for the first time this time last year), I love the dang stuff, but unfortunately they discontinued it on me. I usually prefer a satin finish when it comes to face products, but in the Autumn and Winter, I’m fine with a little dewiness.
I want rose-gold everything right now. I do not know, and do not in the slightest care if it is on trend or not, but it feels Autumnal to me. I’ve been wearing it on my eyes a lot between this and Rose from Lorac PRO 2 – but I reach for this Infalliable shadow single more often because it behaves more. And it is cheap! Inexpensive, accessible quality? Can’t even think of arguing.
I still want a berry or otherwise fall-friendly blush, though. Any recommendations?
